Skincare Organix was founded in early 2007, born from a long passion for all that is natural and wholesome in life and an aversion to synthetic chemicals and their effects on us and our environment. We are genuinely concerned with the effects of what we put on our bodies as well as what we put in our bodies and equally troubled by the chemical effects that modern life is having on all living things. What makes us unique?

Most of Skincare Organix products are made by small, independent manufacturers with herbs and botanicals grown right on their own properties! Products are made fresh, often and in small batches, therefore reducing the need for strong, artificial preservatives and are unique products that aren't commonly found in stores or spas.

What does "organic" mean?

Do you know what organic means, and how it applies to you? In the most basic sense, organic means grown or raised naturally. For plants, it means grown on certified organic land without synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, genetic modification or irradiation. For organic face care, body care and hair care products, it means the skin care products contain mostly organic, natural ingredients with very little, if any, synthetic chemicals. "Natural" products usually contain some natural ingredients along with higher amounts of synthetic chemicals.

Why use organic skin care products?

The skin is the body's largest organ and absorbs everything that gets on it. Did you know that when you take a shower, your body absorbs as much water as when you drink a glass of water? Always conduct a patch test before using new products. Apply a small amount of your new product to clean skin on the inside of your elbow, cover with a bandage and leave for 24 hours. If a rash or redness appears, do not use product; contact a physician if necessary. All products are for external use only (do not use any products internally).
